Rajkot property holding period is shorter than you think

My 3BHK on Kalawad Road was 78L, just got possession last month from Balaji Group. I'm already thinking long-term returns. People say hold for 5-7 years for max gain in Rajkot. But with AIIMS and Airport impact near 150 Feet Ring Road, is it shorter now? Is selling before 3 years a mistake? What's your take on optimal holding period here?
