My existing property sale is taking longer than expected, but I'm still actively looking for a compact 2BHK in Rajkot. Kids have moved out, don't need such a big place anymore. I was looking at a 55L flat near 150 Feet Ring Road. Builder ne quote toh kar diya, but when I asked for the full breakdown, stamp duty and registration charges were almost 7-8% extra. This is a huge chunk! Many people don't factor this in properly during initial talks. What's the real ground reality for these charges in Rajkot? And are there any negotiation tactics for registration value to save a bit? Seems like a common trap for new buyers.
