Ready-to-move is the only safe bet in Pune real estate
My possession for a 2BHK in Hinjewadi was supposed to be last year, May 2023. We bought from Icon Group, near Wakadkar Wasti, thinking it'd be done quickly. Honestly, the construction-linked payment plan drained us completely, and now they're saying another 8-10 months. My EMI started, rent is still going on, I'm literally paying double. This whole experience makes me think: is buying under-construction ever worth it in Pune anymore? Everyone talks about RERA, but delays still happen, and you're just stuck. My parents keep saying I should've gone for ready-to-move, even if it meant a slightly higher price. Is that truly the better option now, even for long-term investment? Anyone else face this with Icon Group or similar builders in Hinjewadi? What did you do? Should I just look at resale RTM properties from now on? Ab samajh nahi aa raha.
