Real negotiation room for Bangalore properties?
Budget finalised, loan pre-approved — now stuck on which sector. I work in real estate but buying for myself in Bangalore is a whole different ballgame, honestly. I'm looking at a 2BHK around Gottigere, maybe VRL Constructions, budget around ₹90L. My question is, how much real negotiation room is there with builders here? I know what they say, "fixed price", but off the record, can you actually knock off a decent percentage, especially on the all-in cost? What about hidden charges? I've seen stuff pop up at possession that wasn't in the initial quote, like extra for water meters or society setup. Is it possible to get a fully transparent breakdown upfront, or are some charges always a surprise? Any tips on getting builders to reveal everything? I'm trying to avoid those unexpected shocks.
