Regretting my recent shift, don't know what to do
Living in West Delhi is nothing like the peaceful lifestyle brochures promise. Possession was in March, and things nobody told me are driving me crazy already. Water supply issue resolve nahi ho raha, plus dedicated parking par daily jhagda hota hai society mein. Builder completely ghosted after taking full payment. Has anyone managed to tackle this with their RWA, or am I totally stuck?

It really takes months for new societies to settle down, initial months are always total chaos. Hope things get somewhat sorted out for you soon, did you manage to speak with the RWA president this week or is it still completely stuck?
I was actually feeling bad about getting priced out of West Delhi and looking towards Aram Bagh side, but reading this thread is making me rethink everything. Middle class savings put into one flat and basic paani ke liye rona pad raha hai. Can the local RERA help if possession already March mein ho gaya tha?
If project was registered under RERA, you can definitely approach them for non-delivery of committed basic infrastructure like water line. But if it is unapproved standalone floor, RERA won't even entertain the application, phir police complaint ya civil court ka chakkar padta hai.
Daily parking jhagda is honestly the worst kind of torture, pura din office mein kaam karo and ghar aao toh ladai.
Builder ghosting after registry is classic Delhi nightmare. Humein bhi yahi bola tha ki boring connection ho chuka hai, later found out local jal board approval hi pending tha. Have you cross-checked your sale deed to see if specific stilt slot number actually mentioned hai?
Yes, sale deed check karna pehla step hai. Mere saath bhi yahi hua tha, verbal promises mean zero when neighbours claim spots.
Exactly, check that document immediately. If the slot number is written in the registered agreement, RWA cannot easily ignore you. But if it just says 'common parking rights', tab toh society politics will completely drain your mental peace.
Reading this literally made my stomach sink. I am in the final stages of closing a 2BHK builder floor nearby and now I am completely panicking. Is this issue limited to standalone builder floors or are proper gated societies facing this too?
Proper gated pockets also have these daily fights sadly. My cousin bought in Anand Vihar thinking society life peaceful hogi, but evening aate hi parking wars start ho jaate hain. Delhi circle rates are touching sky high levels right now, 1.5 to 2 cr laga kar bhi daily tension mile toh banda kahan jaye.
Bhai standalone floors mein toh situation aur bhi kharab hai. Water tankers par depend karna padta hai and parking is always a gamble unless stilt parking clearly marked hai registry mein.
