₹40k rent for a 2BHK near Ghata is just insane now. Everyone glorifies Ghata's price appreciation the last 1-2 years, but honestly, I feel it's peaked. I'm so fed up of renting, finally want to buy something, but Ghata mein ab buying worth it lag nahi rahi. Is it just me, or should I wait for a correction? EMI vs rent math doesn't make sense at current rates. Disagree? Tell me why. Maybe I'm missing something.

Totally relate yaar! ₹40k for a 2BHK is just daylight robbery. I'm also looking near Ghata and the prices are just not making sense for first-time buyers like us. Lagta hai ab bas investors ka khel hai yahan.
U3, value for money toh mushkil hai ab. Maine Baharampur Naya side mein dekha tha, ek builder ke 2BHK flats ₹70-75 lakh tak ja rahe hain for 1100 sqft. Possession next year ka bol rahe hain, but
But isn't Ghata still a prime location for connectivity and future growth? I mean, log toh bolte hain investment ke liye best hai. Kya koi specific projects hain jo abhi bhi 'value for money' lag rahe hon, ya sab over-priced ho gaya?
Sahi kaha bhai, ghanta value for money hai. Mera bhi yahi haal hai.
