RERA and legal checks: What am I missing in Bangalore?
Since January I've been shortlisting flats in Bangalore, and it's a minefield even for someone like me jo is line mein hai. I'm looking at a 2BHK around Sarjapur Road, budget ₹1.2 Cr. The market is crazy, prices up everywhere. I'm worried about legal stuff, especially after hearing so many horror stories. How do you guys *actually* verify RERA registration beyond just seeing a number on a brochure? Matlab, what specific red flags should I look for in the RERA portal data? And for title verification, what are the absolute critical steps that people usually miss? I know the basics, but is there some Bangalore-specific hack? Also, if a builder like Chandrashekar M (just an example, not specific to him) delays possession, does RERA really help ya it's just on paper? What's the real ground reality for RERA complaints?
