RERA is just a paper tiger for builder delays in Bengaluru.
RERA is just a paper tiger for builder delays in Bengaluru, seriously. I work in real estate, but buying my own 3BHK in Whitefield, like a unit in Sterling Ascentia, feels completely different. My current project, not Sterling, is already 8 months behind schedule and the builder keeps giving vague answers. They promised possession by last quarter, but nothing. I thought RERA would protect us, but getting them to actually act... it feels like such a long shot. What are people's real experiences with RERA complaints here? Is it effective or just more paperwork? Should I push for compensation or just accept the delay? I know about the clauses, but enforcing them seems tough. Any advice on real legal options when a builder, even a big one like Buildiko Ventures Llp, just defaults on timelines? This is getting frustrating.

Yaar, totally relate to this. Mera bhi same haal hai, ek project mein invest kiya hai Harlur Road pe, aur builder ne poora schedule bigaad diya hai. RERA filing ka socha but process hi itna daunting lag raha hai. Aapne kis stage pe complain file ki hai, ya abhi bas soch rahe ho?
Haan bhai, same pinch! Mera bhi Akshayanagar mein project stuck hai. Builders ko kaun pakdega? U1, I haven't filed
