Reselling older Bengaluru homes: The silent struggle?

Okay I'll be honest — selling our old 4BHK in Agrahara Layout is proving to be a nightmare. Kids have moved out, we just don't need such a big place anymore, honestly want a smaller 2BHK with an elevator. But the resale market for these older, larger homes in Bengaluru? It's just not moving. Offers are way below what we expected. Are others facing this difficulty? Any tips for selling a 4BHK for an end-user in this current market, especially when you need to downsize?

Oh god, this is my biggest fear! We are also first-time buyers looking at a 3BHK in Aavalahalli, but the thought of reselling later when we downsize just gives me anxiety. Is it really that bad in Bengaluru?
