S S Park View: Amenities promise vs reality shock
Two years ago I thought S S Park View was a dream for our 3BHK upgrade. Builder ne brochure mein kitni amazing amenities dikhayi thi, especially kids' play area. But possession ke baad, it's just sad. Jo promised tha, uska 50% bhi nahi mila. Kids ke liye play area toh naam ka hai, bilkul unsafe lagta hai. Aur maintenance charges itne high hain, but services zero. Anyone else faced this with S S Park View? Kya karein, yaar?

Bhai, 1.3 Cr for just 8 units? That sounds like a very niche project. Maybe they focused on exclusivity over amenities? But unsafe kids' play area is unacceptable regardless. Did you check their RERA compliance before booking? Sometimes these smaller projects have more issues.
Yes, RERA is there, but getting them to act against a builder for 'quality of amenities' vs 'non-delivery' is different. If the brochure mentioned 'state-of-the-art play area' and it's just a swing and a slide, it's hard to prove. What happened with your RERA complaint, U12?
U13, exactly! 8 units sounds like a small-scale builder. They often struggle with funds for promised amenities post-possession. RERA compliance is key, but even then, implementation can be tricky.
This is a common issue, not just with S S Park View. Builders promise the moon and deliver a pebble. My biggest concern is the overall market. With so many new projects coming up, will properties in areas like Agrahara Layout still hold their value if amenities are compromised? The price point of 1.3 Cr for 8 units seems high for such issues.
I'm surprised to hear this about S S Park View. My cousin lives in a different project by the same builder near Aavalahalli, and they had a decent experience. Not perfect, but amenities were mostly delivered. Maybe it's project-specific? Or has their quality gone down recently?
U6, regarding legal recourse – yes, RERA can help. But it's a long process. You need proper documentation of what was promised vs. what was delivered. Brochure, agreement, possession letter, everything matters. It's a huge headache.
U8, it definitely depends. I think after COVID, many builders cut corners. S S Park View was completed in 2023-10-01, right? That's fairly recent, maybe they rushed it. My friend had issues with a project in Akshayanagar with a similar timeline.
Yaar, I visited S S Park View last year. The sales guy was super smooth, promised the world. But jo construction quality dikhi thi, I had doubts. Kids' play area toh tab bhi adha adhura lag raha tha. Kya karein, these builders just fool us with fancy renders.
Exactly! And the maintenance charges they quoted were already quite high for the amenities they *showed*. If even 50% isn't delivered, then it's daylight robbery. Is there any legal recourse for this kind of false promise?
Same here U2! I saw it too. They showed us some really glossy pics of the club house and everything. But on site, it was all just concrete shells. This is why I'm so scared to commit.
Oh god, this is exactly what I feared! S S Park View was on my list too for a 3BHK in that price range. Brochure dekh ke toh sab dream lagta hai, but reality check is so important. Thanks for sharing, this is a huge red flag for me.
