Visited a couple of projects in Saket last weekend, trying to find a decent 3BHK. Honestly, I'm just fed up of renting, landlord ne rent phir badha diya. My budget is around ₹80L–1.5Cr. Everyone glorifies those shiny new buildings, but aren't older, well-maintained societies in Shivalik often better value for money, especially in terms of actual carpet area? Plus, resale potential. New projects ka maintenance bhi high hota hai. Change my mind.

Bhai, totally agree! Naye projects ka naam hi 'luxury' hota hai, but andar se sab ek jaisa. Maintenance charge toh aise lete hain jaise Taj Mahal maintain kar rahe honge. Shivalik mein older societies have so much character and space, and you know what you're getting.
Exactly! Mera ek dost Alaknanda mein rehta hai, unka flat 20 saal purana hai but it's massive compared to new 3BHKs. Aur society bhi bahut well-
