posted on 5 MaySanjay Nagar RWA: The hidden costs of promised security
Since moving to Sanjay Nagar 2.5 years ago, I'm seriously regretting the RWA charges. We upgraded for a 3BHK, thinking kids ke liye safety better hogi. Builder ne bohot promises kiye the security ko leke. But ab RWA kaafi unresponsive hai, especially for common area safety. Meri wife bohot tension mein rehti hai jab bacche park jaate hain. Plus, extra security ke liye alag se pay karna pad raha hai. Koi aur bhi ye issue face kar raha hai Sanjay Nagar mein? Ya humari building mein hi yeh problem hai?

This is my biggest fear as a first-time buyer. Builder ne RWA charges ka koi proper breakdown diya tha kya jab aapne book kiya tha? Ya yeh sab hidden costs hain jo baad mein nikal ke aate hain?
Breakdown? Haha! Builders rarely give a clear one. They'll show you a 'projected' figure, which is always much lower than the actual amount you end up paying. Hidden costs toh standard procedure hai.
Oh man, this is so relatable! Humne bhi Ahinsa Khand 1 mein property li thi, builder ne bade-bade promises kiye the security ke naam pe. But after possession, RWA ne saari responsibility janta pe daal di. Ab parking security ke liye alag se charge karte hain, upar se guards bhi half-hearted hain. Bachchon ko park bhejne mein darr lagta hai. Kaunsa builder hai aapka, bhai? Naam pata chale toh hum bhi bach jayein.
Builder toh sunte hi nahi, collective approach hi kaam aata hai. Individual complaints ka koi fayda nahi.
True that. Sales ke time they show you fancy brochures and explain everything in detail, but RWA charges aur uski working ke baare mein they keep everything vague. Hamesha bolte hain 'resident-managed hoga, best facilities milengi'.
Absolutely! Builder promises are just marketing gimmicks. Once they get their money, they're gone.
