Just moved to Sector 119. Night mein thoda darr lagta hai. How safe is it actually, especially for women and families? Kisi ko pata hai? Mujhe advice chahiye.

Has anyone contacted the MLA or local corporator about the safety concerns? Collective action might help.
Bhai, I agree with U1. Depends on the block. Can you be more specific? And did you register with the local police?
New metro line is coming up nearby. Hopefully, that will improve connectivity and safety in the long run.
So, OP, what did you decide? Are you planning to move out or stay put?
Just be vigilant and aware of your surroundings. That's the best advice I can give you. Noida is Noida.
Sector 78 bhi dekh sakte ho. Connectivity achi hai and relatively safer than 119.
Honestly, Noida is becoming more expensive, and safety is still a question mark. It's frustrating.
Invest in a good security system for your apartment. It's a small price to pay for peace of mind.
Prices are rising everywhere. Maybe Sector 119 is still a good option if you're on a budget. Just be extra cautious.
Which project are you in? Some projects have better security than others. Amrapali Dream Valley, for example, has a pretty good security system.
Amrapali? Are you serious? Their reputation is in the gutter. Possession mila kya aapko?
U14, exactly! Amrapali is a disaster. Stay away from anything associated with them.
Security guards are often undertrained and underpaid. That's the real problem.
Possession status kya hai aapka? Is the builder providing adequate security?
Yeah, possession is key. If people aren't living there yet, it's bound to be less safe.
And check the OC! Occupation Certificate is crucial. Don't move in without it.
I heard a few snatching incidents happened near the metro station a few months back. Be careful around that area, especially late at night.
Bhai, sector 120 try karo. Thoda expensive hai, but much safer.
Don't rely solely on anecdotal evidence. Check crime stats online. UP Police website should have some data, although it might be outdated.
I bought a flat in Sector 119 three years ago. Initially, it was a bit deserted, but now it's much more populated. More people means more safety, right?
That's the theory, U11, but more people also sometimes means more petty crime. It cuts both ways.
Mujhe toh koi problem nahi hui abhi tak. Been living here for 2 years. Maybe install some extra lights outside your house?
Darr toh Noida mein sabko lagta hai, bhai. It's not just Sector 119. But seriously, report any suspicious activity to the police. Sector 119 police station is pretty active, I think.
Safety is a concern everywhere, especially for women. Have you considered joining a local residents' association? They often organize night patrols.
Good idea, U6. RWA can definitely help improve security. Also, check if they have CCTV coverage.
Sector 119... hmm, honestly, it depends on the block. Which side are you on? Near the main road, it's usually okay, but the inner lanes can be a bit sketchy at night.
True that, U1. Main road side is definitely better lit and has more foot traffic.
U1, Which block are you referring to? Asking because I'm also considering buying there.
