I'm thinking of buying a 3BHK in Sector 126. My wife's priority is the kids' school admission. Schools toh ache hai, but is the area safe for the children? Especially at night. Heard some stories. What's the real scene? Need your opinion. Should I consider it?

Another thing to check is the availability of public transport. Are there enough buses and autos in the area? That's important for kids and elderly people.
So, OP, what's your conclusion? Are you going ahead with the purchase in Sector 126? Or are you considering other options?
Ultimately, it's a personal decision. Weigh the pros and cons, consider your budget, and choose what's best for your family. Good luck!
Market is crazy right now. Rates are going up every month. If you like something, don't wait too long, or you'll miss out.
Before you buy, talk to the residents who already live there. They'll give you the most honest feedback about the pros and cons of the area. Especially about safety.
Don't just focus on schools and safety. Consider the resale value as well. Location is key for future appreciation.
My personal opinion? Sector 126 is generally safe, especially compared to some other sectors in Noida. But do your due diligence and talk to the locals before making a decision.
Also, consider the distance to the nearest metro station. That's a big factor for commuting and overall convenience.
I'm more concerned about the traffic in that area. School time mein toh pura jam ho jata hai. That itself can be a safety hazard for kids crossing the road.
True! Traffic is a nightmare. Need to factor that in if you have school-going kids.
Honestly, no place is 100% safe. It's about taking precautions and being aware of your surroundings. Sector 126 is decent, but don't let your guard down.
Suna hai Sector 143 mein bhi kuch new projects aa rahe hai. Maybe check that out too? Schools are decent, and prices might be lower than 126.
I bought a flat in Sector 126 three years ago. Initially, there were some issues with street lighting, but the residents' association took it up with the authorities, and now it's much better. So, it's improving.
Schools are good. But also consider Sector 137. Metro connectivity bhi hai and similar schools. Safety wise, it's comparable to 126.
Sector 137 is more expensive though, right? 126 might be more budget-friendly.
True, 137 has appreciated a lot due to the metro. But 126 is also seeing good growth now.
RERA registration check kiya kya? Builder genuine hai ya nahi, pata chal jayega.
Very important! RERA number is a must before you invest anywhere.
Haan bhai, RERA is your best friend in these matters. Don't trust anyone blindly.
I live in Sector 128, which is close by. We have security guards patrolling, and the residents' association is pretty active. Haven't heard of any major incidents recently. But yes, basic precautions are always necessary.
Which project are you looking at specifically? Some projects have better security than others. That makes a big difference.
Exactly! Builder matters a lot. Some builders cut corners on security to save money.
True. Check the reviews online about the builder's security arrangements. Also, visit the site at night to get a feel of the area.
My cousin lives there. Says the main road is well-lit, but the internal roads can be a bit dark. She uses a car service for her kids' after-school activities. Better safe than sorry.
Don't just rely on hearsay. Go to the local police station and ask about the crime statistics for Sector 126. That's the most reliable information you'll get.
Good point. Also check the CCTV coverage in the area. More cameras, better security.
Sector 126 is generally safe, but 'heard some stories' is vague. Can you be more specific? What kind of stories? Petty theft? Or something more serious? Knowing the details will help give a better opinion.
Schools are good, no doubt. But safety is a valid concern. Raat ko toh I wouldn't recommend kids roaming around alone anywhere in Noida, frankly. Sector 126 is no exception. Thoda careful rehna padega.
