Sector 140 mein, I'm hearing mixed things about water. Some say municipal water is unreliable. Others say borewell is fine. My wife's priority is constant water supply for the kids. Need at least a 3BHK. Is tanker dependency a real problem? What about during summers? Also, are there frequent power cuts affecting water pumps? Honestly not sure if it's worth the risk. Anyone else facing this? Any tips?

U20, good point about the OC! Many societies in Noida don't have it. It's a big risk.
So, overall consensus is... Sector 140 water situation is risky? Maybe I should explore other sectors. Thanks for all the input, guys!
Honestly, Noida in general is a gamble when it comes to basic amenities. But Sector 150 is your best bet.
Just sharing my two cents. I bought in Sector 140A. Water is manageable, but power cuts are a pain. Inverter is a must.
Last suggestion: visit during peak hours - morning and evening - to see the actual water pressure. Good luck!
I faced the same dilemma last year. Finally decided to buy in Sector 150. Worth the extra money for the peace of mind.
Mera bhi same experience tha 2 years ago. Builder ne jhoote promises diye the. Now I regret buying here. Do your research properly!
Don't just rely on what people say. Go and talk to the residents association of the society you are interested in. They will give you the real picture.
Check the Occupancy Certificate (OC) status. If the society doesn't have OC, water and electricity connections can be a problem.
My friend lives in a high-rise in 140. He says the borewell water is hard and not suitable for drinking. He relies on RO and buys bottled water. Consider that cost too.
Water is a HUGE issue in Noida. I bought a flat in Sector 75 thinking everything would be fine. Big mistake. Now stuck with tanker mafia.
Sector 75 is old now. I thought the infrastructure would be better there. That's scary!
Anyone know the average price for a 3BHK in Sector 140 right now? Carpet area matters!
Depends on the society, but expect around 6500-7000 per sq ft. Negotiate hard!
Bhai, with the new metro line coming up, prices are only going up. Buy now or regret later!
Sector 140 is close to the expressway, which is a big plus. But water is a basic necessity. Don't compromise on that.
U4, Sector 150 is expensive yaar! 7k sqft se kam nahi milega. 140 is comparatively affordable.
Affordable is good, but constant water supply for kids is more important, no? Penny wise, pound foolish.
Exactly! My family went through hell with water tankers last summer. Never again! Pay a bit extra but get peace of mind.
I live in Sector 143. Water is okay-ish, but power cuts are frequent. We have a good generator backup, but it adds to the maintenance cost.
Check the builder's reputation. Some builders are notorious for not providing adequate water supply even after promising. RERA registration number check karo online.
Sector 140 mein water issue? Haan, suna toh hai. Municipal supply is patchy, especially in summers. Tanker dependency is real, bhai. Check with residents directly before you commit. 3BHK toh... good luck finding consistent supply.
Don't just hear, experience it! Go visit the society at different times of the day. Check the water pressure yourself. Don't trust builder promises.
Power cuts are definitely a problem in Noida. Backup generator is a must. But even then, sometimes the pumps fail. Investigate the DG set capacity of the society.
Bhai, Sector 140 is still developing. Water and electricity infrastructure is not fully in place. I'd suggest looking at Sector 137 or 150. Better connectivity and established societies.
