Just moved in last month. Sector 143A's metro is a joke, tbh. It's 45 mins to office *after* reaching the station. Is anyone else facing crazy last-mile connectivity issues? Are e-rickshaws the only option? Should I just sell and move closer?

Check the builder's previous projects before making any decision. Delayed projects are a common problem in Noida. I learnt it the hard way.
I think the problem is not just Sector 143A, it's Noida in general. Public transport is terrible and last mile connectivity is almost non-existent.
So, U1, what did you end up doing? Did you find a better commute option or are you still considering selling?
Rising property rates are making it difficult to upgrade to a better-connected location. Feeling stuck!
My society is planning to start a carpool initiative. Maybe you can suggest that to your RWA?
Good idea! Will definitely bring it up at the next meeting.
Our RWA is useless. They're more interested in collecting maintenance fees than solving real problems.
Don't just rely on e-rickshaws. They are unsafe and overcharge. Try to find reliable alternatives like shared autos or even a bike taxi service (if available).
Sector 137 is slightly better connected because of the corporate offices nearby. But even there, last mile is a struggle.
If you're thinking of selling, get a valuation first. Property rates have increased, but don't expect a huge profit given the connectivity issues.
Has anyone tried those electric scooters? Might be a decent last-mile option if the roads weren't so bad.
I was considering buying in Sector 143A. What's the possession status like for most projects? Are builders sticking to the RERA timelines?
RERA timelines are a joke. Most builders delay by at least 6-12 months. Check the RERA website for the specific project before investing.
Possession mila kya kisi ko time pe? Highly unlikely in Noida!
Sector 150 is much better connected, though prices are higher. Maybe consider that if connectivity is your top priority. Avg rate is around 7500/sqft now.
Anyone know if the Noida Authority is planning any dedicated bus routes for 143A? That would solve a lot of problems.
Heard rumors, but nothing concrete. Don't expect anything soon.
Noida Authority? Haha! Good luck with that. They're too busy with other things.
True that! They're more interested in increasing circle rates than improving infrastructure.
Which builder are you with, U1? Some societies have better internal transport than others. My friend in XYZ Apartments has a shuttle service to the metro.
Think long term, yaar. Property prices in Noida are only going up. Metro connectivity will eventually improve. Don't panic sell.
Haan, easy money for those who bought early. Now, even a 2BHK is costing a bomb!
Easy for you to say! You're not the one spending 1.5 hours commuting each day.
Don't sell yet! Try pooling with colleagues or neighbors. That's what I do. Saves a lot of money and time.
Before selling, check out the Rapid Metro extension plans. Might improve things in the future. But Noida Authority moves at its own pace, so don't hold your breath.
I bought in Sector 143 three years ago thinking metro connectivity would be great. Biggest mistake. Now I'm stuck. Renting it out is also a pain.
Bhai, 45 mins is insane! Which society are you in? Sector 143A is huge. Maybe try a shared auto? E-rickshaws are a rip-off. Selling seems a bit drastic though.
Totally agree yaar! Last mile connectivity is a nightmare. I'm in Sector 144 and facing the same issue. Metro toh naam ka hai.
45 mins after reaching the station? Something's not right. I live in 143 and it takes me 15 mins max by auto. Maybe you're on the far end?
U3, lucky you! Some of us are literally at the edge of Noida. Auto walas charge premium too.
Exactly! Which end of 143A are you in? Makes a huge difference.
Haan, the side towards the expressway is much better connected than the one deeper inside.
