Sector 144: is the hype justified?

Sector 144 is getting so much buzz, but is it *actually* worth the prices? The metro connectivity is good, I'll give it that. But what about water supply? My parents keep saying new sectors always have issues. Ab samajh nahi aa raha. Change my mind. Are there hidden problems? Tell me your experiences.
