Log FNG aur Jewar airport ki baat karte hain, but abhi wahan kya hai? I'm looking for my first home, aur idhar prices ₹70-80L tak ja rahe hain for a 2BHK. It's an industrial zone... abhi amenities ka kya scene hai? Should I wait?

Exactly my thoughts! My agent was pushing me for a project there, saying 'future hub' and all. But jab site visit ki, it felt so isolated. No good schools nearby, basic grocery stores bhi nahi. My budget is similar, and I'm seeing better ready-to-move options in Alpha I Greater Noida for almost the same price, with established infrastructure. Is it worth paying for future 'potential' when current living is so difficult?
I almost booked there 1.5 years ago, but then decided against it. My friend who did is now struggling. His office moved further away, and the daily commute is a nightmare. Plus, for everyday needs, he has to drive 10-15 km. For first-time buyers like us, immediate livability is key, unless you're purely looking for investment and don't mind waiting. Don't rush into 'future potential' if your present needs aren't met.
I heard some projects are already delayed by 2-3 years. Builders are waiting for the infra to catch up before pushing completion. That's why prices are still relatively high despite the lack of amenities.
