Just moved into Sector 164. Monsoon mein toh darr lag raha hai. Heard waterlogging is a big issue. Anyone facing this? Builder ne toh bola tha drainage sahi hai, but honestly not sure. Also, power cuts are frequent. Has anyone else faced this? Am I the only one?

OP, what happened? Did you manage to resolve the waterlogging and power cut issues? Any updates?
U14, I'm in! We need to take action. I'm tired of paying taxes and getting nothing in return. Let's create a WhatsApp group and discuss further.
I bought a flat in Sector 78 three years ago. Builder promised everything, but the reality is very different. Amenities are still incomplete, and the maintenance charges are exorbitant. Be careful guys, don't trust these builders blindly.
Sector 164 mein to abhi construction bhi chal raha hai, na? Dust and pollution levels are probably high. Factor that in too.
OP, which floor are you on? Corner unit? Maybe that's affecting the power supply. Try talking to your immediate neighbors and see if they are facing the same issues.
So, to summarise, Sector 164 has potential but significant waterlogging and power cut issues. Need to do thorough due diligence before investing. Thanks for sharing your experiences, everyone!
I heard Sector 143B has similar waterlogging issues. Anyone living there can confirm? Thinking of moving there because rent is cheaper, but not sure if it's worth it.
U11, Don't move there! My friend lives there, and it's a complete mess during the monsoon. Roads are flooded, and traffic is a nightmare. Save yourself the headache.
Bhai, Noida mein toh sab jagah same problem hai. I've been living here for 10 years and every monsoon, it's the same story. Blame the authorities, not just the builders.
Guys, let's be constructive. Instead of just complaining, what can we do? Should we start a petition to the authorities to improve the drainage system? I'm willing to contribute.
U5, don't be completely discouraged. Location is good, connectivity is improving with the new metro line extension. Just do your due diligence and check the drainage system yourself during the rains before investing. RERA number check karna mat bhoolna!
U6, RERA number se kya hota hai? Builder toh phir bhi late karta hai possession. Mera experience toh bahut kharab raha hai. 2 saal delay ho gaya hai. I'm fighting with them now.
U7, RERA number se at least you have some legal recourse. Without it, you're completely screwed. File a complaint with RERA, it can help speed things up. What's the builder's name?
U7, Possession mila kya? I am also waiting for possession for a flat in Sector 150. So frustrating! Kabhi bolte hai materials nahi hai, kabhi labour nahi hai...
U9, Sector 150 mein rates toh bahut high ho gaye hai. Is it worth the wait? Heard average rate is around 7k/sqft now. I am thinking to sell and invest somewhere else.
Sector 164 mein waterlogging? Bhai, welcome to Noida! Seriously though, which project are you in? Some areas are worse than others. Power cuts toh usual hai, inverter lagwa lo.
Totally agree with U1. Waterlogging is a major issue in many sectors, especially during heavy rains. Builder ne toh sab sahi bola hoga, reality is different. Which builder are we talking about?
U1, U2, sahi bol rahe ho. I'm in Sector 168 and last year's monsoon was a nightmare. Cars were literally floating. Power cuts are a daily occurrence. What's the society maintenance doing?
U3, maintenance wale toh sirf bill lene aate hai. Kaam kuch nahi karte. Have you tried raising a complaint with the AOA? Maybe group complaint se kuch hoga.
Sector 164 is relatively new, right? I thought newer sectors would have better infrastructure. Guess not! I'm considering investing there, but now I'm having second thoughts.
