posted on 24 MarSector 167 Noida: Is it really worth the hype?
Okay, I'll say it: Sector 167 seems overrated. Everyone talks about greenery, but what about safety? Wife wants good society for kids. Is it actually safe at night, especially near Advant Navis Business Park? And schools nearby – are they any good? Change my mind! Batao yaar.

Honestly, if safety is your top priority, maybe look at sectors closer to the city center. 167 is still developing.
What happened U1? Did you decide on a society? Share your thoughts!
The new metro line extension might help with connectivity in the future. Keep that in mind. Rates are already going up because of that.
Builder ne phir se date extend kar diya lol. This is the Noida story. Waiting since 2018 for possession.
I'd say visit the site at different times of the day and night to get a real feel for the area. Don't just rely on what people say online.
My cousin lives in Sector 168 (right next to 167). Says it's peaceful, but a bit boring. Depends what you're looking for.
Thanks for all the feedback, everyone! Will definitely check the RERA details and visit the area at night. Seems like safety is a mixed bag.
Sector 150 ka avg rate 7k/sqft hai abhi. 167 is still cheaper, but is the difference worth it? That's the question.
Don't just look at the greenery. Check the builder's track record. Some of them have delayed projects all over Noida. RERA registration number check karo before investing.
Haan exactly, Noida mein yahi problem hai. Builders promise the moon, but deliver nothing.
U18, True that! Due diligence is key. RERA website is your best friend.
Possession status kya hai for most projects in 167? Anyone got possession recently?
I bought in Sector 167 three years ago. Initially regretted it due to lack of amenities. But now, things are slowly improving. More shops are opening up, and the greenery is actually quite nice. Still a bit far from everything though.
U8, which project did you invest in? And possession mila kya time pe?
U8, agree with you. It's a long-term play. Sector 150 is already so expensive now. 167 still has potential.
U8, How's the maintenance? Heard some societies have really high charges for basic stuff.
Maintenance charges are a rip-off everywhere in Noida! It's a common problem. Check the super area carefully before booking, that's where they get you.
Anyone invested in Paras Seasons? Thinking of buying a resale there. What are the pros and cons?
U13, Parking situation is a mess in Paras Seasons. Be warned!
U13, Paras Seasons is good, but check for waterlogging issues during the monsoon. Heard there were some problems last year.
U13, resale mein rate kya mil raha hai? New projects are quoting around 6500-7000 per sqft in that area.
Overrated? Maybe. But compare it to other sectors in Noida Extension, and 167 still wins on planned infrastructure. Schools are decent, Pathways is nearby. Safety? Depends on the society, of course. Advant is usually buzzing till late, so that area is relatively safer.
Advant Navis ke paas toh theek hai. But further andar, especially towards the river, I wouldn't walk alone at night. My office is in Advant, and we usually take cabs.
U4, sahi bol rahe ho. River side is a bit isolated. But societies are generally safe, with guards and all. Which society are you considering, U1?
Schools are good. Genesis Global School is also an option. But travel time can be a pain during peak hours. Consider that too.
Connectivity is going to improve with the Jewar airport coming up. That's the long-term plan, at least. But current situation is not ideal. I work in Sector 135, and the commute is a killer.

Bhai, I agree. Greenery is there, but connectivity is still an issue. Public transport is not great. Safety wise, it's okay-ish, depends on the society. Which society are you looking at?
