Sector 168 mein just moved in. Everyone talks about the greenery, but nobody mentions the water tankers! Municipal water toh rarely aata hai. Borewell is okayish. Is this normal? Seriously considering moving if it's always like this. Change my mind.

Don't panic yet, OP. Water issues are common in new sectors. Just be proactive and keep following up with the builder and the authorities.
Noida Authority should be held accountable too! They approve these projects without ensuring basic amenities are in place.
Maybe try talking to your neighbors? Form a residents' association and address the issue collectively.
I heard the new metro line is extending to that area soon. Hopefully, that will improve things overall.
OP, any update on the water situation? Did you talk to the builder?
Which floor are you on? Higher floors often face water pressure issues. Gravity ka scene hai.
Builder ne water supply ka kya commitment diya tha? Check your agreement. You can file a complaint with RERA if they're not meeting their promises.
U20 is right. RERA is your best bet. Builders only listen when you threaten legal action.
Market is down right now. Moving might mean selling at a loss. Think carefully.
OP, which project are you in? Knowing the builder will help us give better advice.
Don't move yet! Give it a few months. Things might improve. Maybe complain collectively to the builder? Unity is strength!
I bought in Sector 150 three years ago. Initially, the water situation was similar. Now, it's much better. Infrastructure takes time to catch up.
That's reassuring, U14. Sector 150 is nice though. Lots of greenery. Is the metro connectivity any good now?
Has anyone tried installing a water softener? Maybe that can improve the borewell water quality?
Good idea, U16! But check with the society first. Some societies have rules against individual installations.
Water softener is expensive, yaar. And you need to maintain it. But yeah, it definitely helps with hard water.
U4, Supertech is a whole different story. Don't even go there. But yeah, builder reputation is key. Did you check RERA registration details before buying?
I'm also considering 168. What's the going rate per sq ft these days? Any idea?
Depends on the project, U6. But expect anywhere between 6500-8000. Negotiate hard!
U6, I've seen some resale options around 7200. New constructions are definitely pricier.
U6, beware of 'hidden charges'. Builder will quote you a basic rate, then add parking, club membership, PLC, etc. Sab mila ke it becomes a lot!
My friend lives in Sector 78, and they have regular water supply. Maybe 168 is still developing its infrastructure?
Sector 78 is older, U10. 168 is relatively new. Infrastructure is always a gamble in Noida Extension areas.
Haan exactly, Noida Extension mein yahi problem hai. They promise so much, but deliver so little.
Sector 168 mein water crisis? Welcome to Noida, bhai! It's always been like this. Which project are you in?
Seriously? 168 is supposed to be the 'posh' side. I thought borewell was the backup, not the main source. U1, true that Noida water woes are legendary.
Bhai, which builder? Some are notorious for cutting corners. Check their past projects' water supply situation. It's usually a recurring theme.
U3, true that! Unke 'maintenance charges' toh time pe chahiye, but water supply is always a problem. I heard Supertech Emerald Court residents are still fighting for basic amenities.
