Sector 18 Noida: Is it safe for families now?

Looking at Sector 18 for a bigger 3BHK. My wife's priority is safety, especially at night, for the children. Heard the metro connectivity is great. But is it really safe enough? Need to know before deciding on this area. Schools bhi dekhna hai nearby.
