Sector 24C mein property lena theek rahega?
Finally taking the plunge after years of renting in Chandigarh. My landlord just hiked the rent again, so EMI vs rent math is clear now. Sector 24C dekh raha hoon, kaafi established area lagta hai. But prices yahan thode high lag rahe, especially for a 2BHK. Around 70-80L for older flats, is it justified? Or is there negotiation scope? Kya yahan premium sirf location ka hai? Aur safety ka kya scene hai? Family ke saath shift hona hai, toh night security ya kids ke liye park area kaisa hai? Nearby schools ka bhi idea chahiye, kids ke admissions ke liye. Koi specific recommendations ya warnings? First-time buyer hoon, thoda guidance mile toh accha hoga. Any long-term residents ya recent buyers from 24C?

Bhai, same situation! Mera bhi rent ab itna badh gaya hai ki EMI sasti lagne lagi. 24C established toh hai, no doubt. Location premium kaafi hai wahan, for sure. Par 70-80L for older flats does sound a bit much, especially for a 2BHK. Par connectivity and facilities achhi hain.
