Sector 24C power cuts are a hidden deal-breaker

My lease ends in 4 months and I'm honestly fed up with renting, finally taking the plunge to buy. I'm looking at Sector 24C, considering a 3BHK around ₹1.5Cr. The EMI vs rent math makes sense now. But I've heard some whispers about power cuts, especially in the older pockets. Is it really an issue? I work from home a lot, so reliable electricity is crucial. Don't want to deal with constant DG backup noise or unexpected outages affecting my work. What's the ground reality? Are we talking minutes or hours? And does it vary much by specific block or builder in Sector 24C? Any experiences with specific projects, like Omaxe or Godrej, in terms of backup generators?
