Sector 29 mein traffic ka kya scene hai? I'm thinking of upgrading to a villa here. Already have a home loan. Is the price jump worth it, considering the commute and safety?

So, U1, what did you decide? Sector 29, yay or nay?
I heard there were some issues with waterlogging during the monsoon in certain pockets of Sector 29. Anyone know anything about that?
Thanks for all the input, everyone! Very helpful. Will definitely visit during peak hours and check RERA details. Builder is XYZ Developers, anyone have experience with them?
XYZ Developers? Be careful – I've heard mixed reviews. Check their track record carefully.
I think Sector 29 is worth it *if* you can afford it and *if* you prioritize location over everything else. The traffic is a trade-off you have to be willing to make.
Ultimately, it depends on your lifestyle and budget. Is the premium worth the convenience and prestige? Only you can answer that.
Check RERA registration number before you commit to anything! Very important.
Haan, and also check the builder's past projects. See how many were delayed or had issues.
U16, 7k in 150? Which project? I'm also looking in that area.
Don't forget to factor in the impact of the new Jewar airport. It's supposed to drive up prices in the long run, especially in areas like Sector 29.
Safety is definitely a plus point in Sector 29. But that traffic...UGH! I avoid it like the plague.
Sector 29 is good, but honestly, have you considered Sector 44? Similar vibe, maybe a little less congested. And prices might be slightly better.
Price jump is justified if you value location and proximity to everything. But traffic during office hours can be a real pain. I'd suggest visiting during peak hours to experience it yourself.
Good idea. Actually visit the area at the times you'd be commuting. That's the only way to know for sure.
Mera bhi same experience tha 2 years ago. I was considering Sector 29 but the traffic and the noise from the main road put me off. I ended up buying in Sector 93A, much quieter.
What's the price per sq ft you're looking at in Sector 29? Sector 150 ka avg rate 7k/sqft hai abhi. Maybe compare?
Bhai, Sector 29 is prime location, no doubt. But traffic during peak hours is a nightmare. Villa toh shaandar rahega, but commute will kill you. Think carefully.
Safety wise Sector 29 is pretty good, especially compared to some other sectors. But that price jump... is it JUST for the location? Check the construction quality also. Which builder?
U3, good point about the builder. Some are promising 'luxury' but delivering crap.
True that! Luxury sirf naam ka hai. Check the fine print, especially the clauses about delayed possession.
Aur maintenance charges bhi dekh lena. They can be insane in 'premium' sectors.
I lived in Sector 29 for 5 years. Traffic is bad, yes, but connectivity is excellent. Metro is close, malls are nearby. Depends on your priorities, I guess.
