Thinking of moving to Sector 29, Noida. Need a bigger 3BHK for my growing kids. What's the real story on safety there, especially at night? Wife is worried about that. Also, how are the schools nearby? Getting admission is tough these days. I've heard mixed reviews. What do you think, is it a good area for families with kids? Kya aap logon ko pata hai about the society life? Is it a good community feel or everyone keeps to themselves? Mujhe advice chahiye. Is the resale market good if we need to move again later? Any suggestions?

Honestly, no area is 100% safe. You need to be smart and take precautions. Install security cameras, be aware of your surroundings, and don't flash expensive belongings. That's my advice.
So, OP, which society are you leaning towards? Have you visited any properties yet? That's the best way to get a feel for the area and the community.
U20 is right. Visit a few places at different times of day. Talk to the residents. That's the best research you can do. Don't just rely on online opinions.
One thing I'll add: traffic around Sector 29 can be a nightmare during peak hours. Factor that in if you're commuting to Delhi or Gurgaon. The new metro line helps a bit, but still...
Traffic toh Noida mein sab jagah ka problem hai yaar. But Sector 29 is still better connected than many other sectors. Overall, it's a decent place to live, especially with family. Just do your due diligence.
Which DPS branch? There are multiple DPS schools in Noida. The reputation varies. Some are better than others. Sector 30 DPS is considered the best, but getting in is like winning the lottery.
Circle rate of Sector 29 kya hai? Anyone knows the current rate for apartments?
U14, Check the Noida Authority website. They usually update the circle rates annually. It depends on the type of property and location within the sector.
Remember to check the RERA registration of the project you're interested in. Don't buy anything that's not RERA approved. It's a huge risk.
U16, Totally agree! RERA is a must. It protects you from builder fraud.
Haan exactly, RERA registration number check karo before you pay any booking amount.
Resale market is good but expect to negotiate. Buyers will always try to lowball you. Check the current circle rate before you start negotiating. It will give you a good idea of the fair market value.
Sector 29 is good, but have you considered Sector 50? It's a bit further out, but the schools are excellent, and it's generally considered safer. Plus, property prices might be a bit lower.
Bhai, Sector 50 is nice but commute to Delhi can be a pain during peak hours. Sector 29 is much more centrally located. Depends on your priorities.
I've been living in Sector 29 for 5 years now. I feel safe. My kids go to DPS. Getting admission was tough, but it's a good school. Society life is decent. We have regular events and get-togethers. Overall, I'm happy with my decision.
I live in Sector 29. It's decent for families. The parks are well-maintained, and there are lots of kids around. Society life depends on the society you choose. Some are very active with events, others are more quiet. Resale value is generally good because of the central location. But prices are high now.
Which society are you considering? That makes a big difference. Some societies have better security and amenities than others. I know someone who had a bad experience with security in XYZ Apartments. Be careful.
U4, XYZ Apartments? Really? I thought they were decent. What happened?
U5, Mera bhi same question hai. XYZ Apartments mein kya problem hai? I was considering buying there.
U5, U6, Their security guards were often absent or sleeping. There were a few instances of petty theft and car vandalism. Nothing major, but enough to make residents uncomfortable. This was a year ago though, maybe things have improved.
U4, Thanks for the info! That's good to know. Security is a big concern for me.
Yaar, security is a problem everywhere. You need to be proactive yourself. Install CCTV, get a good alarm system. Don't rely solely on society security.
Sector 29 is generally considered safe, especially the blocks closer to the main road. But yeah, night mein thoda vigilance toh rakhna padega, everywhere is like that now. School options are good - DPS, Apeejay are nearby but getting admission is a HUGE pain. Be prepared for that.
Bhai, safety is relative. Sector 29 is definitely better than some other sectors, but crime happens everywhere. Check the police beat frequency. About schools, U1 is right, admission is a nightmare. Apply to multiple schools, don't rely on just one.
