Sector 35 Faridabad: Daily living for an older couple?
Resale of our big house is almost done, and I'm honestly not sure where to go next in Faridabad. We looked at a compact 2BHK in Sector 35; it felt right for just us two. My main concern is hospital proximity for emergencies. Also, what's the real ground reality on general infrastructure like water supply and power cuts? We just want a peaceful, manageable life after the kids moved out.

Power cuts are a big NO for me. Can't imagine living without AC in summers!
See, I've heard Sector 35 is still developing, so some infrastructure issues are expected. But for an older couple, stability is paramount. What about security in these areas? And is the resale value good for 2BHKs there, considering the current market sentiment in Faridabad?
Agreed with U8. Resale value for a 2BHK in Sector 35 might not be great immediately. It's more of an end-user market right now, not investment-driven. And about security, check specific societies, not the whole sector.
Security depends on the society, yaar. Some new ones have good gates and guards. Resale value, I'm not sure, but current market mein toh sab jagah thoda slow hi hai. Buyers are very cautious right now.
I actually visited a project in Sector 35 last month. It felt peaceful, no doubt. But the main issue I saw was connectivity to major hospitals. The nearest one I could find was quite a drive during peak hours. Otherwise, for daily needs, local markets are decent and easily accessible.
Haan, but I heard there's a small clinic opening on the main road. Not a full hospital, but for basic stuff, it might help.
Exactly! Connectivity is a nightmare. Especially for emergencies, you can't afford delays.
Honestly, Sector 35 ka naam sunte hi mujhe water supply aur power cuts ka tension ho gaya. Last year, my uncle was looking there, and he heard stories about inconsistent water pressure, especially in summers. Plus, the internal roads are not always great. For an older couple, ease of movement is key, right? This budget-conscious buyer is also thinking about maintenance charges here, they can really add up.
Sector 35 sounds good on paper for a quiet life, especially for an older couple. But hospital access is a genuine worry for older folks. My parents also need regular check-ups. Is there a good multi-speciality hospital close by, or will they have to travel far for emergencies?
