Sector 37 – I've been eyeing this area for a while now. Fed up of renting, landlord ne rent badha diya phir se, so finally taking the plunge. EMI vs rent math is finally making sense for buying. But before I commit, I need a ground reality check. Families ke liye, schools and hospitals ka scene kaisa hai yahan? I mean, quality education options nearby, aur emergency ke liye acche hospitals hain kya? Plus, daily grocery shopping, sabzi mandi, aur cafes/restaurants ka access kaisa hai? Does it feel like a truly self-sufficient area or will I be travelling a lot for essentials? Honestly not sure. Is it worth the premium agar daily life mein hi struggle ho? Community input would be super helpful.

Actually, I disagree with the 'wait' part. I booked a flat in Sector 37 West two years ago, and my possession is due next quarter. Builders like SBP and Ambika are delivering. For schools, there's Pathways and a few others opening. My kids are already enrolled in a school nearby. Hospitals ke liye, Fortis Mohali is just a 15-20 min drive, jo ki bo
Hmm, premium ki baat hai toh, I'm not so sure. My friend bought a 3BHK there last year, aur abhi tak possession ka issue chal raha hai. Plus, the internal roads are still a mess in some pockets. Self-sufficient abhi tak toh nahi lagta hai. Thoda aur wait kar lena chahiye shayad?
Totally get you, bhai! Sector 37 has definitely grown. I visited a few projects there last month, and the infrastructure growth is visible. Schools like The Millennium School and hospitals like Ivy Hospital are quite accessible. Plus, for daily needs, there are local markets coming up, and you're not too far from Mohali for bigger malls. The premium is there, but for a family, the connectivity and planned development might justify it. Just do your due diligence on the builder, that's key.
