Just moved into Sector 38 near Medanta last month. Daily commute to Chandigarh office is killing me, traffic bahut zyada hai. Water supply bhi irregular lagta hai sometimes, relying on tankers. Is this just initial adjustment ya yahi reality hai? Thinking about daily life here, what's your take? Should I look for solutions or adjust?

Honestly, Gurugram is like this only. Every sector has its pros and cons. Sector 38 is well-established, good hospitals nearby, but yes, traffic and water can be a pain. A lot of people in Baharampur Naya also face similar issues with water. It's about what you prioritize. Are you considering selling and moving, or just looking for ways to cope for now?
U10, selling isn't an option right now, too much hassle and cost. Just trying to cope for now, but exploring options like shifting my work days or maybe finding a closer job. It's a tough call.
For water, check if your society has a proper borewell or relies solely on municipal supply. Sometimes a good water purifier for drinking and a booster pump for pressure helps. Commute ka toh kuch nahi kar sakte, maybe carpooling or early morning starts?
Thanks U9, will definitely check about the borewell. Good point on the booster pump too.
I almost booked a flat in Sector 38 last year, but then pulled out because of the traffic reports. My office is in Sohna Road, and even for that, it looked like a nightmare. Plus, I heard about some projects near Basai where water logging was a major issue during monsoons. Did you check the RWA reviews before moving into your society?
RWA reviews? Nahi yaar, builder ne bola sab first class hai. Ab samajh aa raha hai meri galti.
Current market mein Gurugram mein har jagah price high hai, especially for ready-to-move properties. Builders are quoting insane figures. Water supply and traffic are city-wide issues, not just Sector 38. You need to factor that in when buying anywhere here.

Yaar, my friend also lives near Badshahpur and faces similar issues, especially with the tankers. For a Chandigarh commute, why didn't you consider something closer to NH-48 side? Like near Airport Road? What made you choose Sector 38 for this commute?
Sector 38 mein water issues common hain, especially during summers. Hum toh 2 saal se yahan hain, adjustment nahi, reality hai. Tankers will be your best friend, unfortunately.
Bhai, same haal hai. Traffic toh roz ka rona hai, especially during peak hours. You're not alone.
