Sector 49 — rent search for young pros, my honest take

Sector 49 — just moved here last month, and honestly, finding a good rental was a headache. Moved to Chandigarh for a new job, so convenience was key. Pehle Mohali ke Sectors 69-71 dekhe, but office commute bahut lamba lag raha tha, traffic ka bhi issue. Zirakpur was also an option, but again, travel time. Finally settled on a 2BHK in Sector 49, but yaar, rent kaafi high laga for what I got. I'm paying around ₹28k for a semi-furnished place. Is it just me, or are rents really this high here now? Young professionals ke liye best areas kaunse hain jo convenience aur price dono balance karein? Should I have looked more towards New Chandigarh ya Aerocity side? What's your experience, especially for someone new to the city?
