Sector 5: Good schools, but is it safe enough?

Since January I've been seriously looking at 3BHK options in Noida, specifically Sector 5. My wife's priority is definitely the kids' school admission thing, and Sector 5 seems to have decent schools nearby. But honestly not sure about the safety situation, especially at night. Need to know if it’s actually safe for the children to play outside. Anyone living there currently? What's the real story? Heard about some issues with stray dogs, is that still a problem? Also, is it worth paying the premium for a park-facing flat, or am I better off saving that money? I'm looking for honest opinions. My budget is around 1.7 Cr.
