Sector 50: What residents truly say about safety after dark

Since last summer we've been looking for a 3BHK in Chandigarh, especially around Sector 50. My wife's priority is a genuinely safe environment for our kids. We've seen some promising flats, but I'm honestly unsure about the day-to-day safety, especially after dark. For families, is it really as secure as brokers claim? What's the actual vibe like for kids playing outside or women walking alone? Any specific pockets within Sector 50 to be wary of? Really appreciate any candid experiences, good or bad.
