Fed up of renting, finally looking to buy. Sector 59 seems decent. But is the water supply reliable? Heard mixed things. Also, how bad are power cuts, really? What do you guys think?

Thanks everyone for the insights! Really helpful. Will definitely do more research on the builders and visit the site before making a decision.
Good luck with your home search! It's a stressful process, but worth it in the end.
Don't forget to check the building's fire safety certificate. Very important!
Honestly, if water is a major concern, consider Greater Noida West. Water table is higher there. But connectivity is not as good as Sector 59.
So, after all this feedback, still thinking of Sector 59? Or considering other options now?
My suggestion: visit the site multiple times at different times of the day. Talk to existing residents. That's the best way to get a real picture.
Check the builder's payment plan carefully. Some builders have hidden charges. Read the fine print!
Also, factor in the cost of furnishing the apartment. That can easily add another 10-15 lakhs to your budget.
Power cuts are usually 1-2 hours max, not too bad. But water pressure can be low sometimes. Invest in a good water pump.
Sector 59 is a good location overall. Close to metro, good connectivity. But do your homework on the builder before investing. All the best!
True that. Location is prime. Just be careful about the builder's reputation. Check their RERA registration number and project completion history.
Don't forget to factor in the cost of getting water tankers during the summer months. That's an additional expense nobody tells you about.
Anyone living in Prateek Wisteria in Sector 77? How's the water situation there specifically?
Water tanker mafia is strong in Noida. Be prepared to pay extra during peak summers. It's a sad reality.
Mera experience bataun? I bought a flat in Sector 78 three years ago. Promised amenities were never completed. Now fighting with the builder. Learn from my mistake – check everything before you book!
Haan yaar, amenities toh showpiece hote hain. Builder bas dikhate hain, banate nahi.
Anyone know the average price per sqft in Sector 59 right now? Trying to get a sense of the market value.
Depends on the project, but expect around 6.5k to 8k per sqft. Negotiate hard!
Sector 59 is okay, but water situation is hit-or-miss depending on the pocket. Power cuts are frequent, especially during summers. Generator backup is a must, bhai.
I live in Sector 62, right next door. Water is a problem everywhere in Noida, honestly. But 59 is relatively better than some other sectors. Power cuts are manageable with inverter.
Thinking of buying there too! Which project are you considering? That makes a big difference in water and power situation. Some builders are better than others.
U3, good point! Which builder is everyone talking about? I've heard Supertech is a big no-no. Any experience with Godrej or ATS in Sector 59?
Godrej Woods is a decent option in 59. Good construction quality. But their maintenance charges are a bit high, just FYI.
ATS is generally good, but expensive. Godrej is decent. Supertech... avoid like the plague. Delayed projects and quality issues.
