Sector 59: Rent is killing me, thinking of buying

I'm so fed up of renting near Sector 59. Landlord just raised rent again! Thinking of buying. How's the water situation there? Heard some areas have tanker problems. Also, is the resale market any good if I need to move later? Anyone know about that?
