I work in real estate but honestly not sure about Sec 60. Everyone says metro connectivity is amazing, but peak hours? Is it a sardine can? And what about last mile? Auto guys charge whatever they want. Change my mind. Is it really worth the premium?

I'd say, visit the sector during peak hours and see for yourself if you can handle the crowd and the traffic. That's the best way to decide.
So, OP, what's your final verdict? Did we change your mind or are you still skeptical?
Sector 60 is good for office goers. But if you work from home, maybe look at other sectors with better amenities and green spaces.
Remember to factor in the cost of parking. Many societies charge extra for parking spaces.
For investment purpose, Sector 60 is still a good bet due to its location and connectivity. But for personal living, consider all the factors discussed here.
Anyone knows the current average price per sq ft in Sector 60 for resale apartments?
I think the hype is slightly overblown. Metro is good, but last mile is still a problem. I prefer sectors closer to the expressway for better connectivity.
Don't forget the power cuts! Noida Power Company is still unreliable in some areas.
What's the water supply situation like in Sector 60? Any issues with waterlogging during the monsoon?
Water supply is generally okay, but waterlogging is a problem in some pockets, especially near the main road during heavy rains.
Haan exactly, Noida mein yahi problem hai. Drainage system is pathetic.
Mera experience toh kharab raha. Builder ne phir se possession date extend kar di. Going to file a complaint with RERA.
Which project? Name and shame them!
Overall, Sector 60 is a decent option if metro connectivity is your priority and you can negotiate a good deal. But don't expect it to be a perfect paradise. Noida hai, bhai!
Sector 60 is okay, but the internal roads need improvement. Traffic jams are common during peak hours even outside the metro station.
Bhai, which builder are you talking about? Some are notorious for delays. Check their RERA registration number before investing.
I am an NRI looking to invest. Is it a good time to buy in Noida, considering the rising interest rates and property prices?
U12, it's always a good time to buy if you find the right property at the right price. But do your research. Noida is still a good investment, especially with the upcoming Jewar airport.
U12, the market is hot right now. Property prices have gone up significantly in the last year. But also, rupee is weak, so it might be beneficial for you as an NRI. Consult a financial advisor.
Don't FOMO. Rates are high. Wait and watch. There will be a correction eventually.
Sector 60 is good for rental income also. Many IT professionals working in nearby offices prefer it. I am getting good rent on my 2BHK.
What rent are you getting and what's the carpet area? I am planning to rent out my flat in Sector 78.
U17, I am getting around 25k for 900 sq ft. Fully furnished.
Bought a 2BHK in Sector 60 three years ago. Metro was the main reason. Initially, it was great, but now, the crowd is insane. Office timings change karke dekho, maybe that will help.
What about the social infrastructure? Sector 60 mein schools, hospitals, markets kaise hain? Metro is important, but it's not everything.
U8, social infrastructure is decent. There are good schools nearby in sectors 50 and 51. Hospitals are a bit of a drive, but not too bad. Daily needs ke liye local markets are okayish.
Hospitals are a concern. Fortis is nearby but always crowded. Jaypee in sector 128 is better but further away.
Totally get your point! Sector 60 metro is convenient, no doubt, but peak hours mein toh bhai sahab, it's a human jampack. Last mile connectivity is a pain too. Auto wale loot te hain openly.
I disagree. I live in Sector 62 and use the Sector 60 metro daily. Yes, peak hours are crowded, but it's still faster and cheaper than driving. Auto ka jugaad is there, you just need to bargain a bit. Worth the premium? Depends on your priorities.
Premium is justified agar walking distance hai metro se. Otherwise, it's just another Noida sector with traffic woes. Main Sector 50 mein rehta hu, metro is good but not a game changer for everyone.
Agree with U3. Sector 50 is good but prices are already inflated. Sector 76 is worth considering. What's the average rate there now?
U4, Sector 76 is also getting crowded now. Last mile is becoming an issue there too, especially in the evenings.
Exactly! Walking distance is key. Otherwise, you're just adding another layer of hassle with the auto/e-rickshaw. Sector 76 is better in that sense, more organized last mile.
