Honestly, property hunting in Mohali is stressful. I'm eyeing Sector 63 for a 2BHK. What's the water supply and power reliability like? Any major peak hour traffic problems?

U1, yeh sab sunke toh mera bhi budget hil gaya. Mohali mein prices phir bhi theek hain compared to Gurugram. Wahan toh Badshahpur ya Baliawas mein bhi ek decent 2BHK lena mushkil ho gaya hai, prices sky-high hain. Lagta hai Mohali mein bhi ab basic infrastructure ke liye extra kharch karna padega, toh total cost almost same hi padegi.
Traffic toh peak hours mein pura Mohali hi jam rehta hai. Sector 63 se agar Chandigarh ki taraf commute hai, toh Phase 11 ke paas aur Airport Road pe traffic bahut milta hai subah-shaam.
U1, power reliability is a major concern in Sector 63, especially during summers. My cousin bought a 3BHK there last year, and power cuts are frequent, sometimes for hours. They had to get a heavy-duty inverter and a backup generator for the common areas. Yeh builders sirf location dikhate hain, basic amenities pe dhyaan nahi dete.
U3, you're right, power is a big one. But to be fair, connectivity to Chandigarh Airport Road is excellent from S63. Har area ke apne pros and cons hote hain. It's about what you prioritize. Agar budget tight hai, toh yeh extra costs consider karne padenge.
U9, inverter helps for basic stuff like lights and fans, but ACs can't run on it for long. Societies usually have generator backup for ACs, but that adds to your monthly maintenance bill. Summer mein bill aaram se 8-10k pahunch jaata hai agar AC zyada chalta hai.
Oh no, power cuts? Inverter se kaam chal jaata hai kya? Bijli ka bill kitna aata hai phir, generator use karne se?
Bhai, Sector 63 is a mixed bag, to be honest. Location-wise it's decent, close to the airport road but infrastructure is still catching up. You'll find good deals, par kuch compromises toh karne padenge.
U2, exactly! Builders promise the moon, but when you move in, it's a different story. Yeh water aur power ka tension hi sabse bada hai. Mera friend Basai mein rehta hai Gurgaon mein, same issues hain wahan bhi.
U6, water pressure ka issue hai definitely. Mostly borewell supply pe depend karta hai societies mein, so quality aur pressure dono fluctuate karte hain. RO system is a must, believe me.
Haan bilkul, compromises toh har jagah hain. Water pressure ka kya scene hai wahan? Suna hai low pressure ki problem rehti hai kuch areas mein.
Honestly, property hunting in Mohali is stressful. I'm eyeing Sector 63 for a 2BHK and feeling totally overwhelmed. What's the water supply and power reliability like there? Any major peak hour traffic problems, especially if I'm commuting towards Chandigarh?
