Sector 63A: Good for family with kids?

Sector 63A keeps popping up. I'm looking for a 3BHK. My wife's priority is safety for the kids. Heard some areas have stray dog problems. Also, kids' school admission is important. Any insights on schools nearby and how safe it is at night? Is it actually peaceful or noisy? Need some real resident reviews. What's the water situation like?
