My job requires late hours, and I'm considering 63A. I work in real estate but want real resident opinions, off the record. Is it safe for my wife if she's alone at night? Heard mixed reviews about stray dogs and street lighting. Also, how's the water situation there? Municipal supply reliable?

Rates are going up everywhere, especially after the new metro line announcement. 63A might be a good investment long term, but safety is a valid concern right now. Weigh your options carefully.
I sold my flat in 63A last year. The lack of reliable water supply was the main reason. Plus, the traffic during peak hours is a nightmare. Sector 62 is much better connected.
So, OP, what did you decide? Did you visit the area at night? I am also considering 63A but after reading this, I am having second thoughts.
Possession mila kya kisi ko recent projects mein? I heard a lot of delays due to COVID and now labour shortage.
U13, Bhai, delays toh har jagah hai. Sector 75 mein bhi same haal hai. Builders are blaming everything but themselves.
U13, I got possession in December, but the finishing is terrible. Cheap materials used everywhere. Now fighting with the builder to fix it.
U15, Which project? Need to know which builder to avoid. Thanks for sharing.
If you're in real estate, you know the drill. Do a thorough site visit at night. Talk to existing residents. Don't rely on what the sales guys tell you. They'll promise you the moon.
U7, Count me in! This water problem is unbearable. Builder is not even listening.
U7 & U8, Which builder are you talking about? Name and shame them! Others should be aware.
Don't just complain, guys. File a case in RERA. These builders only understand legal action.
I invested in a commercial property in 63A 5 years ago. ROI is decent, but the area is still not fully developed. Residential...I'd think twice before moving my family there.
My friend lives in a high-rise in 63A. He says the street lighting is terrible. A few lights are always broken. Complaining to the authorities is a waste of time.
Which project are you considering specifically? Some are better maintained than others. And 'late hours' matlab kitna late? That makes a difference.
I live in Prateek Laurel, Sector 120, which is close by. Even here, the stray dog issue is a menace. My wife won't walk alone after 9 PM. 63A might be worse.
Sector 63A is developing, but that also means construction and related security issues. I'd be wary of leaving my wife alone late at night. Have you looked at sectors closer to the metro line, like 50 or 76? Slightly more expensive, but safer.
Water situation is truly pathetic. We get tanker water every other day. And the quality is questionable. Considering moving because of this. Bijli bhi jaati rehti hai.
U6, which society are you in? I'm also facing similar issues. We should file a complaint together.
63A...mixed bag hai bhai. Safety depends on the pocket and the society. Some are gated and guarded, others...not so much. Water is tanker-dependent in many places, municipal supply is patchy at best. Raat ko stray dogs ka scene toh Noida mein common hai.
I agree with U1. It's not uniformly safe. Check the specific society and their security arrangements. Water is a real issue, especially in summers. Ask the residents directly, don't rely on builder promises.
