Okay I'll be honest — moving to Sector 67 last month has been an eye-opener. Especially with the monsoon starting, I'm already seeing some waterlogging near Golf Course Extension. Builder ne bola tha drainage sahi hai, but abhi se roads pe pani bhar raha hai. Is this normal for the area? Should I be worried about heavy rains? Aur power cuts ka kya scene hai yahan? Our society has DG backup, but I'm curious about the general grid reliability. What are your experiences, especially for families with kids?

Yaar, I bought a resale flat in Sector 67 near Badshahpur border two years ago. Same issue. Last year's monsoon was a nightmare. Our basement parking got partially flooded for a day. Power cuts used to be for 2-3 hours daily during peak monsoon, even with DG. Builder ne drainage system upgrade karne ka promise kiya tha but nothing happened. I even saw some houses near Airport Road facing similar issues. Families with kids especially struggle with basic amenities when this happens. Kya karein, Gurgaon ka yahi sach hai?
Same experience, but we invested in an inverter for critical appliances, which helps during power cuts. For waterlogging, try to check if your society has a proper sump pump system. Some newer societies are better equipped, but older ones struggle.
Sahi baat hai, pura Gurgaon paani paani ho jaata hai. Builder toh bas bechne tak ka hai.
Totally agree with the OP. Builder ne humein bhi same story sunayi thi. Abhi tak possession nahi mila, but yeh sunke darr lag raha hai.
Bhai, welcome to Gurgaon monsoon reality! Golf Course Extension ka toh yeh haal har saal ka hai. Builder promises are just that, promises. Heavy rains mein toh situation aur kharab hoti hai, kids ke saath planning zaroori hai.
