Honestly, the water tanker situation in Sector 99 is a pain. Anyone else facing this? Is borewell water even safe long-term? Should I complain to the RWA?

Update: I complained to the RWA again today. They said they're 'working on it'. We'll see how that goes...
Just a suggestion: try to collect water in big drums when the tankers come. At least you'll have some reserve for emergencies.
I think we should all collectively write a letter to the Noida Authority. Strength in numbers, right?
RERA mein complaint karne se kuch fayda hoga kya? Has anyone tried that before for water issues?
RERA might help, but it's a long process. Worth a shot though if the builder isn't responding.
So, what's the consensus? Is anyone seeing any actual improvement, or are we all just stuck with the tankers?
Builder ne phir se date extend kar diya lol. Ab toh aadat si ho gayi hai.
I heard they are laying down new pipelines near the Sector 96 metro station. Maybe that's connected to improving the water supply in our area? Fingers crossed.
Be careful relying only on borewell water. Get your RO system checked regularly. It might not be filtering everything properly.
Anyone considering moving to a different sector because of this? I'm seriously thinking about it.
Honestly, Noida in general has water problems. It's not just Sector 99. We need a long-term solution from the government.
Has anyone tried rainwater harvesting? It might be a good long-term solution, especially with the monsoons coming up.
Sector 150 is way better when it comes to water supply. Thoda costly hai, but worth it for the peace of mind.
Sector 150 ka avg rate 7k/sqft hai abhi. Is it really worth the extra cost just for water? That's a huge premium!
U15, it's not just water, it's also better planning, wider roads, and more green spaces. Depends on your priorities, I guess.
Guys, what's the monthly maintenance charge in your society? Ours is too high, and I suspect they're using a big chunk of it for these water tankers.
Ours is around Rs. 3 per sqft. Seems pretty standard for Noida, unfortunately.
Guys, anyone know if the Ganga water pipeline project is going to reach Sector 99 anytime soon? Heard some rumours about it.
Mera bhi same experience tha 2 years ago jab mai rent pe tha Sector 99 mein. I finally moved out because of this water issue and the constant power cuts. Did things improve at all?
Complain to the RWA, and also tag Noida Authority on Twitter. Public shaming is sometimes the only way to get things done. #NoidaAuthority #Sector99WaterCrisis
I bought in Sector 99 expecting good infrastructure, but this water situation is ridiculous. Builder ne toh sirf jhoote vaade kiye the.
Which builder are you talking about? Name and shame them! We need to be transparent about these things.
U10, check your agreement. What does it say about water supply? You might have grounds for legal action if they haven't fulfilled their promises.
Totally facing the same issue, bhai! Sector 99 mein paani ka problem toh permanent lagta hai. RWA mein complaint karke dekh lo, but honestly, I doubt it will change much. They've been saying 'improvement soon' for ages.
I'm on the 10th floor and the water pressure is pathetic. Morning mein toh bilkul nahi aata. Is this a common problem across all floors?
Haan yaar, even on the 5th floor, the pressure is low. I think it's worse on the higher floors. Koi solution nikalna padega.
U3, try installing a pressure pump. It helped me a lot. But check with the RWA before you do, some societies have rules against it.
Borewell water is definitely not safe for drinking long-term! Full of heavy metals hota hai. Get it tested at least.
