Secunderabad's 'peaceful' vibe is just marketing

Did a site visit to a few complexes in Secunderabad last week. My kids have moved out, so we're selling the big place, looking for something smaller, manageable. It felt quite peaceful, honestly. But what's the actual day-to-day resident life like there? Is it safe for older folks at night? And how are the nearby hospitals for emergencies? Also, are maintenance charges reasonable?
