Shiv Krishna Valley: Post-possession snag list reality?
Are snag lists after possession in Noida projects actually taken seriously by builders? Kids toh ab nikal gaye, so I'm thinking of selling our big house and moving to a smaller, manageable flat, maybe in Shiv Krishna Valley. Visited a few places, brochure mein sab accha lagta hai. But I'm worried about the real construction quality once you move in. Friends have told me about seepage issues, fittings breaking within months. Also, water supply ka kya scene hai? Don't want to depend on tankers daily, especially with health issues. Is full-time, reliable water supply standard ya it's a constant struggle? Any experiences with builders actually fixing post-possession issues promptly? Ya fir sab bas promises hi hain?

From what I've seen with Shiv Krishna Valley, the units are small but smartly designed. The price range is also competitive for a completed project in Noida. However, the snag list and post-possession issues are a universal problem. You need to be very diligent during the final walkthrough. Document everything with photos and videos. And yes
Shiv Krishna Valley? Possession mila kya is project ka? Ya under construction hai abhi?
Yes, U4, it's a completed project. I checked their RERA details, it's ready-to-move.
Same worries, yaar! My parents are also thinking of moving to a smaller place, and Shiv Krishna Valley sounded good on paper. But my cousin faced a huge problem with water supply in his new flat near Ghaziabad border. Everyday, water tankers were the only option for months. Imagine the hassle! For senior citizens, this is a major concern. Builders should be more transparent about these basic amenities before selling.
Exactly! Water supply is a huge issue in many new projects, especially the ones on the outskirts. I remember one project in Ajayabpur, they promised 24/7 water, but it was just for a few hours in the morning and evening. Baaki time, you'd see people running after water tankers. It's not just an inconvenience, it affects daily life and health.
Bhai, snag list is mostly a formality. Builders take their own sweet time, and sometimes you have to literally chase them for months to get even minor things fixed. My experience says, once they have their money, customer service takes a backseat. Shiv Krishna Valley ka toh pata nahi, but general trend yahi hai.
Totally agree with you. We bought a flat in another project nearby, and the builder promised the moon. After possession, the paint started peeling, and wiring issues popped up. Unko call kar kar ke thak gaye, end mein khud hi electrician bulana pada. It's a nightmare for first-time buyers.
