Should I trust builders or brokers for better deals?

Builders often say direct is always better, but I'm not so sure. I'm currently in a 2BHK in Hoodi and thinking of upgrading to a 3BHK or a small villa. Looking at Keya Homes, maybe around Venkateshpura. Is it actually better to go direct to the builder for pricing, or can brokers get you some spot discounts that aren't advertised? I'm already carrying a home loan, so every rupee counts. Should I just trust the builder's 'no price drop' policy?
