Shubh Veda: Post-possession utility surprises nobody mentions
Shubh Veda, Pune — just moved into my 2BHK here last month, possession was in March. Honestly, things nobody tells you before buying are starting to surface. The power backup situation is a bit of a shocker. They promised 24/7 backup, but it's only for common areas and one light point in the flat, not full flat backup. Is this standard for new projects in Pune? Our inverter isn't cutting it for the whole house. Also, water supply has been okay so far, but I'm hearing whispers about tanker dependency during peak summer. We're on the 4th floor, so pressure isn't an issue yet, but I'm worried about reliability. Has anyone else at Shubh Veda or similar projects experienced this? Am I just overthinking it, or is this a common post-possession surprise with maintenance charges not reflecting full utility?

Hey everyone, I'm eyeing Shubh Veda in Pune (RERA: P52100080358, possession 2030-12-01). It's still upcoming, but I'm super nervous about common issues like power backup and water supply later on. I've heard horror stories from other projects about 24/7 backup just meaning common areas, and tanker dependency during summer. Is this a common builder tactic? What should first-time buyers like me watch out for in the fine print?
