Sindhu Skies: Did I overpay for broken promises?
₹1.2 crore for a 3BHK in G K Sindhu Skies was a big decision for my family, especially with kids' school admissions and safety in mind. Everyone glorifies new projects' amenities, but nobody talks about the actual construction quality post-possession. We're barely a year in, and already seeing minor cracks, some seepage issues. Maintenance charges toh bhar bhar ke lete hain, but actual service quality is a joke. Kids ke play area bhi bas naam ke liye hain, not really usable or safe. Honestly, I'm feeling like builders just tick boxes. Okay, I'll say what no one says: most builder promises are marketing fluff once you move in. Change my mind.

Honestly, the market conditions right now in Pune are already tough, prices are high everywhere, even in areas like Anand Nagar. With such high prices, the expectation for quality is also high. If builders can't deliver that, it's a huge problem. This Sindhu Skies issue, if accurate, just adds to the general anxiety first-time buyers have about making such a big investment.
This is why I always tell people to check builder's past projects. Not just what they show you, but talk to residents there. Sindhu Skies ke liye toh, if what OP says is true, it's a red flag. But like U2 mentioned, the possession date is far off. Is it possible you bought in an older project by the same builder, or maybe an early phase that's delivered?
I can totally relate to the marketing fluff part. Every project brochure looks like a dream, but the reality is often very different. My friend recently bought a flat in Amanora Park Town, and even there, with a reputed builder, the promised club house and swimming pool took an extra 2 years to become fully functional. It's like they just want to seal the deal first.

Sahi kaha U1. Premium bolke sirf price premium dete hain. Quality ke naam pe zero. My cousin booked in a similar project near Akurdi and he's also facing endless issues with water pressure and faulty wiring. It's a nightmare for first-timers like us.
