Small details at site visits predict future living nightmares
Did a site visit to Alkaraj Homes by MK Developers last Saturday. Kids have moved out, so my wife and I are looking to downsize from our big house. Don't need such a big place anymore, just something manageable with good amenities for our age. I've been checking for elevator brands and the number of water tanks during these visits. Noticed at Alkaraj that the elevator brand wasn't top-tier, and the water tank capacity seemed a bit low for the number of flats. My broker said it's standard, but I'm honestly not sure. Does anyone else check these things during under-construction visits? Are these small details actually big red flags later on for daily living? Especially for older folks who rely on elevators and consistent water supply. What else should I be looking for beyond the fancy show flat? Hope this helps someone else looking for a flat for their golden years.
