Sobha Windsor Whitefield: How's the external infrastructure?
Just watched a video on Sobha Windsor in Whitefield. It really highlights the cool internal amenities like the Organic Farm, Pet Park, and Co-working Space, plus that English architecture vibe. Sounds pretty private and secluded. But the video didn't really talk much about metro access or how good the roads are around there. Also, what about schools and hospitals nearby? For anyone living or investing in that Whitefield area, how's the actual connectivity and infrastructure around Sobha Windsor? Is it easy to get around?

Honestly, for that budget, you could find decent 3BHKs in more developed parts of Bangalore with better connectivity. Whitefield's charm is fading with all the traffic. I'd rather compromise on a pet park for a shorter commute and easy access to hospitals like Manipal or Columbia Asia, which are quite a drive from Sobha Windsor.
My friend bought a flat near Aavalahalli, not too far from Whitefield, and he regrets it. The roads are terrible, especially during rains, and schools nearby are either fully booked or too expensive. We're also first-time buyers, and this 'secluded' vibe can quickly turn into 'isolated' if connectivity isn't sorted. Don't just look at the builder's name, look at the ground reality.
The price range of ₹3.0 Cr – ₹4.4 Cr is steep for a first home, especially if the surrounding infrastructure isn't great. What's the RERA status for this project, Sobha Windsor Phase 1 Wing 1 And 2? And what about the possession date? Just want to know if it's on track.
Yeah, 2025 is still a bit away. Whitefield area traffic patterns can change a lot in that time. But don't expect miracles. Infrastructure projects take ages here.
The RERA number is PRM/KA/RERA/1251/446/PR/210219/003939. It's an ongoing project, so it's registered. Possession date is 2025-11-01. So, still some time left for things to develop around the area.
But the amenities, no? Organic farm and pet park sound so premium! And Sobha is a big builder, established since 1995. They usually deliver good quality. Maybe the external issues will improve by the possession date?

I'm looking for my first home and budget is tight, so paying 3Cr+ for something that's a nightmare to get to just doesn't sit right. Metro connectivity is key for me, is it even close by?
Bhai, metro line is coming but construction is slow. I heard the Whitefield (Kadugodi) station is the closest, but still not walking distance. You'll need a feeder service or your own vehicle. For that price, I expect better access.
Totally agree. My office is near Marathahalli and commuting from Whitefield can take forever, even with the metro. The nearest station is still a bit of a distance from Windsor, right? Auto-rickshaws also charge a bomb there.
