Sohna projects: Brochure vs. reality is shocking

Sahi keh rahe ho. I booked my plot near Airport Road, and the amenities promised are still under construction, two years past the initial deadline. The current market conditions in Gurugram are also not helping, with many projects facing funding issues. Builders are cutting corners wherever they can. It's a tough time for first-time buyers who are investing their life savings.

This is exactly why RERA was introduced, right? To protect buyers from such discrepancies. Did you check the RERA documents for Signature Global Park 1? What's the RERA number for this project?

My experience in Badshahpur wasn't much different. Booked a flat there two years ago, and the render vs. reality is a joke. They showed a bustling commercial complex next door, but it's still a barren land. Builders know first-time buyers are emotional and don't always do enough due diligence. We get swayed by fancy pictures and smooth talk. I wish I had visited the site multiple times before booking.

Honestly, I'm feeling quite misled by the whole process of buying in Sohna. My kids have moved out, so we looked at Signature Global Park 1, wanting something manageable with good amenities. The brochure promised so much, especially for the clubhouse and green areas. But what's been delivered? It's nowhere near. The gym is tiny, and maintenance charges are exorbitant for what we actually get. Are others finding this too? Did anyone manage to push back on the builder for these discrepancies?
