posted on 11 MaySohna projects: My post-handover shocker
Since January I've been shortlisting flats in Sohna, specifically places like Signature Global City 93. Honestly, everyone glorifies the brochures, but nobody talks about the actual usage of the clubhouse after a year. Most look like showpieces, not functional spaces. My kids have moved out, I need a manageable place, not a ghost town. And construction quality? Matlab, are cracks and seepage after a year normal? Builders focus on fancy looks, but what about the actual build? Change my mind.

The RERA number for Signature Global City 93 is RC/REP/HARERA/GGM/682/414/2023/26. This project has 700 units. Are these issues specific to this project, or are you generally worried about Sohna builders? What's your budget, if you don't mind sharing?
You're right, I should have clarified better. I haven't booked in Signature Global City 93. My observations about cracks and seepage are from a friend's flat in another builder's project in Sohna, handed over last year. I'm shortlisting Signature Global City 93, and seeing these general issues in Sohna makes me question if it's worth the ₹1.3 Cr – ₹2.0 Cr investment. My budget is around
This is so true! I saw a similar situation with a project near Baharampur Naya. Builder promised a state-of-the-art gym and community hall, but after 2 years, the gym equipment is rusted and the hall is used for storage. It's not just about the looks, it's about the long-term maintenance and actual usability. For a first-time buyer like me, it's a huge investment, and these things really scare me. Sohna mein toh yahi experience hai logon ka?
So true. The post-possession nightmare is real. Builder bhool jaate hain ek baar payment ho gayi toh.
Exactly! My uncle faced similar issues in a project near Baliawas. The swimming pool was always dirty, and the security was lax. These amenities are a big part of the sales pitch but rarely maintained.
Totally agree! Brochures are all glossy, reality is something else. Clubhouses toh bas naam ke hain, no actual utility. My biggest fear is paying so much and then having to deal with these issues.
