My lease ends in a few months and I'm seriously fed up of renting. Har saal rent badh jaata hai, especially in places like Sohna Sector 83. I'm looking at buying a 2BHK there, maybe from Godrej or Signature Global. EMI vs rent ka math ab bahut tight lag raha hai. Kya abhi Sohna mein property lena worth it hai for end-use? Renting continues to feel like throwing money away. Has anyone here made the switch recently? Kya lagta hai, is it finally tilting towards buying in this market, considering the interest rates and property prices near Dwarka Expressway?

Sahi keh rahe ho, EMI vs rent ka calculation ab bahut close ho gaya hai. But interest rates bhi toh upar hain. Agar long-term end-use hai, toh theek hai, but investment perspective se abhi thoda risk lag raha hai. Kya aapne ready-to-move options bhi dekhe hain? Unka premium kitna hai?
Ready-to-move mein transparency bhi zyada hoti hai. Mera ek colleague Godrej ka project dekh raha tha Sohna mein, uska possession date already 6 mahine delayed hai. Usne toh booking cancel kar di. Builder ne bola tha ki RERA deadline tak ho jayega, but abhi bhi kaam slow hai. Isliye main toh sirf completed projects hi dekhta hoon, even if they cost a bit more.
Haan, ready-to-move mein premium toh hai, around 10-15% extra. But at least possession ka wait nahi karna padta. Sohna Sector 83 mein kuch options hain, but amenities abhi bhi under construction hain. Airport Road side ke projects mein toh bahut high premium hai.
Totally agree with the rent frustration! Har saal 10% hike is just ridiculous. Buying feels like the only escape.
Dekho, Sohna is definitely developing, especially with the KMP Expressway connectivity. But EMI vs rent ka math tabhi work karta hai jab property appreciate kare. Mere ek dost ne Basai ke paas liya tha 3 saal pehle, usko abhi bhi ROI nahi mila hai jo usne expect kiya tha. Dwarka Expressway ke paas prices already sky-high hain, Sohna mein abhi bhi thoda scope hai, but research bahut zaroori hai. Builders ke past projects ka status bhi check kar lena.
Yaar, exactly my thoughts! Sohna mein rent itna badh gaya hai ki EMI almost same lag rahi hai. Godrej aur Signature Global ke projects mein dekh raha hoon, but budget tight hai. Kya lagta hai, abhi sahi time hai invest karne ka?
